We Create Management Knowledge and Cultivate Humanistic Business Leaders

Foreword

Located in the heart of Taipei City, the NTNU College of Management (COM) is one of the top business schools in Taiwan. Following the humanistic tradition of NTNU, our mission is to create management knowledge and cultivate humanistic business leaders. The COM is accredited by AACSB and the Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan (HEEACT). We offer a range of programs, including an undergraduate program in the Department of Business Administration (BBA), two MBA programs in the Graduate Institute of Management (GIM) and the Graduate Institute of Global Business & Strategy (GIGBS), an Executive MBA program (EMBA), and an Executive MBA program in Global Fashion (GF-EMBA).

Our faculty members expertise in key business research areas, such as Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, International Business, Strategic Management, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, Technology Management, and Data Science. In 2023, the QS WUR Ranking by Subject recognized our college as one of the top 500 in Business and Management Studies.

Mission

As a business school affiliated to the best normal university in Taiwan, the mission of the COM resides in creating management knowledge and cultivating humanistic business leaders.

  • To create management knowledge, our academic disciplines and intellectual contributions focus on marketing, finance and economics, and general management. In addition to basic research, we emphasize applied research such as interdisciplinary research and academia-industry cooperation. The COM will continue strengthening our research and teaching on MarTech, FinTech, and Big Data applications.
  • To cultivate humanistic business leaders, the COM is dedicated to providing a unique learning environment for business and non-business students by utilizing the abundant humanistic resources of NTNU. Through distinct curricula design and cooperating with humanities instructors, the COM prepares its students to be future leaders who not only cultivate their own virtues, such as ethics and creativity, but also empower followers to flourish through humanistic caring and diversity & inclusion initiatives. Additionally, they shoulder sustainability responsibilities by considering the benefits of all stakeholders, incorporating global perspectives and ESG principles.
