About us
Department of Business Administration (English-taught Program) at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is a pioneering initiative set to launch in August 2025. This program is housed within the College of Management, which proudly holds the prestigious AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation, ensuring international recognition and quality assurance for our academic offerings.

02.Program Philosophy
Our educational principle is to nurture professional leadership and administrative talent with international perspectives. The BA-ETP program breaks through traditional departmental boundaries, integrating resources from across the entire College of Management to provide students with diversified learning experiences in the professional realm of management.

03.Future-Oriented Curriculum

Continually advancing, the English-taught Program emphasizes:

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI): Integrating AI tools and methodologies to revolutionize business processes.
  • Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG): Embedding sustainability into business practices.
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Equipping students with analytical techniques that drive business innovation.

04.Industry Collaboration

Our curriculum not only focuses on theoretical knowledge but also stresses practical application through direct industry engagement. Collaborative projects with business entities ensure that our students gain hands-on experience, making them valuable in the workforce.

05.Cultural Integration

The BA-ETP program fosters a vibrant multicultural learning environment. It complements our original business administration department, offering international students opportunities to engage with local peers through initiatives like the learning partner program. This fosters not only language proficiency but also a deep understanding of diverse cultural perspectives, enriching the student’s global outlook and professional network.

06.International Exchange Programs

Our college-level exchange program allows students to study at partner institutions specifically chosen by the College of Management. This program focuses on business-related courses and experiences tailored to our curriculum. The university-level exchange program, managed by NTNU's Office of International Affairs, offers a wider range of partner institutions across various disciplines.

07.Our Mission Statement

The BA-ETP program is dedicated to cultivating humanistic business leaders with a global perspective. By providing a unique learning environment that integrates management knowledge with the rich humanistic resources of NTNU, we empower our students to become innovative, ethical, and socially responsible professionals. We strive to equip them with the skills and mindset to appreciate diverse values, foster creativity, and inspire the positive potential of others in an ever-evolving global landscape.

Assistant Professor and Vice Director of Department of Business Administration Chen, Meng-Ting

Welcome to the Business Administration – English-Taught Program (BA-ETP) at National Taiwan Normal University! I’m delighted you’ve chosen to take this first step toward your professional future with us. Choosing BA-ETP means you are ready to challenge yourself, expand your skills, and embrace new opportunities in your college life — and we are here to guide and support you every step of the way.
During your time here, you will build a strong foundation in business — management, marketing, finance, and data analytics — while also developing essential skills in leadership, cross-cultural communication, and strategic thinking. Beyond academics, life at NTNU is vibrant and welcoming, with inspiring classmates, active student clubs, and exciting campus events. You might compete in a business challenge, join a cultural festival, or spend an evening enjoying night market snacks with friends. Studying in Taiwan offers not only excellent academic opportunities but also the chance to immerse yourself in a safe, friendly, and dynamic culture — the perfect setting for your university years.

You will also have numerous opportunities to take your learning beyond the classroom — whether through internships, industry collaborations, or exchange programs with top universities around the world. Each experience will help you gain practical skills, expand your network, and prepare to step confidently into the global business arena. Every moment here — in class, on campus, or while exploring Taiwan — is a chance to learn, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
My best tip for making the most of college life is to be curious, be brave, and say yes to new experiences. Join that club, enter that competition, travel somewhere you have never been, and never hesitate to ask questions — inside or outside the classroom. University is the time to explore, to make mistakes, and to learn from them. Treasure these years, because they will pass faster than you imagine. I wish you friendships that feel like family, challenges that make you stronger, and achievements that make you proud. Welcome to BA-ETP — and to an exciting new chapter of your life.
