2025 Spring semester Exchange
2025 Spring College-Level Application for Overseas Study (Exchange) and Scholarship Selection - Open Now Until September 23 (Monday) at 5 PM

1. Eligibility:
(1) Students enrolled in programs or departments within the College of Management who meet the requirements outlined in NTNU’s "Regulations for Students Studying Abroad" and the "Detailed Implementation Rules for Students Studying Abroad" are eligible to apply. This does not include on-the-job students or students currently studying abroad.
(2) Students who have already passed the university-level overseas study selection or are applying for university-level or college-level exchange programs for the Spring semester of the 2024 academic year (Spring 2025) should apply to the College of Management. The application period is from now until September 23, 2024 (Monday).

2. Overseas Study Scholarships:
The scholarship application includes both university-level and College of Management scholarships, which should be applied for together during this process.

3. Important Notes:

(1) College-level exchange students should complete their applications online (https://bds.oia.ntnu.edu.tw/istudent/OE) and email the electronic file to the responsible secretary: Secretary Wei Han Choong (wwwei0211@ntnu.edu.tw).

(2) Students who have passed the university-level exchange selection and wish to apply for the Overseas Study Encouragement Scholarship should submit their application as well (they may submit the materials used for their university-level exchange application).

(3) All application materials should be compiled into a single electronic file and emailed to wwwei0211@ntnu.edu.tw by 5:00 PM on September 23, 2024 (Monday). The email subject line should be "College of Management College-Level Exchange Application_Department_Grade_Name"; for those who have already passed the university-level selection and are applying for the scholarship only, please use the subject line "College of Management College-Level Overseas Study Encouragement Scholarship (Passed University-Level Selection)_Department_Grade_Name".
(Example: College of Management College-Level Exchange Application_Graduate Institute of Management 2nd Year_Wang Xiaoming).

(4) Undergraduate students must be in their third year or above to apply.

(5) Applying for a college-level exchange is considered a simultaneous application for the Overseas Study Scholarship.

(6) Students who have passed the university-level exchange selection and wish to apply for the Overseas Study Scholarship must submit a hard copy application to the College of Management during the semester before their overseas study. Late or unsubmitted applications will be considered a voluntary forfeiture of the scholarship.

(7) Only "exchange student" applications are accepted this time; applications for "dual degree programs" are not available.

4. Required Documents:
(1) Application form (online system)
(2) Preference form (online system)
(3) A copy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) ID card (for overseas Chinese students, submit a residence permit)
(4) Study plan in English (1000-5000 words; for applications to schools in mainland China, the study plan can be written in Chinese)
(5) English resume and autobiography (for applications to schools in mainland China, these can be written in Chinese)
(6) Valid foreign language proficiency test results (according to the standards of the applying school; not required for applications to schools in mainland China)
(7) One copy each of academic transcripts in Chinese and English from all years
(8) [Optional] Copies of awards, certifications, and activity proof (limited to significant awards or activities from university level or above)

5. Selection Criteria:
(1) For non-mainland China schools: Total score is 100 points, with 40% for foreign language proficiency, 30% for the study plan, and 30% for the resume and academic performance.
(2) For schools in mainland China: Total score is 100 points, with 50% for the study plan and 50% for the resume and academic performance.

6. Application Deadline:
The application deadline is 5:00 PM on September 23, 2024 (Monday).

7. Interview:
The interview is scheduled for 12:30 PM on September 30, 2024 (Monday). The exact time and format (in-person or online) will be announced separately. Each student will have 5-10 minutes, and the interview will be conducted in both Chinese and English.

8. Announcement of Results:
The application results will be announced by early October, and the list will be submitted to the Office of International Affairs for reference.

9. Scholarship Amount:
The scholarship amount will be determined based on the university's budget.
