2025 Fall College-Level Application for Overseas Study (Exchange and Dual-Degree Programs) and Scholarship Selection
Application Deadline:
From now until March 6, 2025 (Thursday) at 5:00 PM
- Eligibility
Eligible Students: Students enrolled in programs or graduate institutes under the College of Management, who meet the criteria of NTNU’s “Regulations for Students Pursuing Overseas Study Programs” and its implementation rules.
Exclusions: Part-time students and students who have already participated in overseas study programs are not eligible.
*Notes for University-Level and College-Level Applicants:
Students who have already been approved for or are currently applying for university-level or college-level exchange programs and plan to study abroad in Fall 2025 (Academic Year 2025-2026, Semester 1) must submit their application to the College of Management by the deadline.
- Scholarship Support
Applications for overseas study scholarships, including those provided by NTNU and the College of Management, must be submitted as part of this application process.
- Important Notes
College-Level Exchange Programs:
Both electronic and hard copies must be submitted to the responsible secretary, Catherine Sun (Email: catherinesun@ntnu.edu.tw).
University-Level Approved Applicants:
Those approved for university-level exchange programs may submit the same application documents used for the university-level application to the College of Management.
Dual-Degree Program Applicants:
Submit hard copies to the College of Management Office and email electronic copies to Catherine Sun.
Notes for Dual-Degree Program:
Except for newly signed agreements with Singapore Management University for undergraduate students, dual-degree programs are only open to graduate students.
Applications are accepted only for the Spring semester each academic year, with students studying abroad in the following Fall semester.
Simultaneous Application for Scholarship Support:
Applying for college-level exchange or dual-degree programs is considered an application for overseas study scholarships.
Scholarship Application for University-Level Exchange Applicants:
Students approved for university-level exchange programs who wish to apply for scholarships must submit a hard copy application to the College of Management in the semester prior to their overseas study. Late or unsubmitted applications will be considered a waiver of scholarship eligibility.
Note: Undergraduate students must be in their third year or above to apply.

Preference form (online system or Attachment 2)
Copy of ROC ID card (Overseas Chinese students must submit a residence permit)
Study plan in English (1,000–5,000 words)
English CV and autobiography
Valid proof of language proficiency (based on the standards of the intended institution)
Academic transcripts in Chinese and English (one copy each)
[Optional] Copies of awards, certificates, or activity proofs (only for significant achievements or activities at the university level or higher)
- Selection Criteria
For institutions outside Mainland China:
Total score: 100 points
Language proficiency: 40%
Study plan: 30%
CV and academic performance: 30%
- Application Deadline
From now until March 6, 2025 (Thursday) at 5:00 PM
- Interview
Scheduled for March 19, 2025 (Wednesday) at 12:30 PM.
Details on the interview format (in-person or online) and time will be announced later. Each interview will last approximately 5–10 minutes and will be conducted in both Chinese and English.
- Announcement of Results
Results will be announced by the end of March 2025 and submitted to the NTNU Office of International Affairs for record-keeping.
- Scholarship Amount
The scholarship amount will be determined based on the university’s budget.
