QBS Proposal on Student Exchange Program

Beginning:
From the Kyushu University fall semester, which begins at the end of September 2025.
Duration of students’ stay:
From the end of September 2025 to the beginning of February 2026. Your students would
study in our university, during the fall/winter 2025 semester.
Number of students:
Up to two MBA students per school.
* When the total number of applicants exceeds 15, we will screen the applicants by submitted academic records.

Nomination Deadline
WEB Application Deadline: February 10, 2025 (Monday)
*Sent to us by the international program office of your school.
Application Deadline: March 10, 2025 (Monday)
*Nominated students shall enter required information and upload documents online.

Courses available in English at QBS (subject to change):
In order to obtain a scholarship from Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO), the exchange students should take equal to or more than four QBS courses with decent grades (their academic records are submitted to JASSO for their review).

- Asian Industries and Companies
- Corporate Value Creation and M&A
- Intercultural Communication
- International Marketing
- Japanese Business Law in Practice
- Management Control

* We apply for the JASSO scholarship. However, please note that we cannot guarantee all students will be able to receive the awards.

* In the case the available JASSO scholarship is less than the total number of the students, we will select the recipients based on the students’ academic records.
* A variety of Japanese language courses is available for international exchange students.
We recommend exchange students take appropriate Japanese language courses depending on their linguistic proficiency.
In addition to the above, various extra-curricular activities will be planned for your students, such as factory visits.

Duties of students:
Students must attend (1) the International Student Orientation in September 2025 and (2) the
final presentation early in February of 2026 (TBA).

Application:
Since this exchange is based on the university-wide agreement, application has to go through the department in charge of international student exchange programs at your university. Please consult them for details of the application process. Please note that we do not accept applications directly from individual students, so please ensure that you apply via the department in charge of international student exchange programs at your university.
